Diana Wilder
Diana Wilder is Operations Manager for Wilder Transport Index LLC, and the personal assistant to Dr. Rob Wilder, CEO. Most recently Diana had served as chief financial officer for the Institute for Global, International, and Area Studies (IICAS), and for the Department of NanoEngineering, both at UC San Diego. Formerly she was natural history interpreter with the National Park Service in Yosemite, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority in Australia, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.Diana holds an M.S. in Natural Resources Policy & Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.A. in History of Public Policy from the University of California, Santa Barbara..

Diana has published on innovative pollution prevention, for example based on her work at Save The Bay in Providence, RI where she designed and completed a comprehensive monitoring project to identify and characterize heavy metalsin a small community’s wastewater stream.

While living on Maui, Hawaii, Diana designed and maintained websites for environmental and educational nonprofit organizations. She also designed a dedicatedsite in the public interest for a Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Index –a precursor to the WilderHill Clean Energy Index.

A sustainable transportation advocate, Diana switched to public transport in the summer of 2005, “back before it was cool,” taking the bus instead of driving to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. She is enjoying the family's first all-electric car, followed by other electric vehicles powered by the sun from their home’s 6kW grid-intertie solar photovoltaic system.

Diana also enjoys gardening and raising poultry on the family’s Encinitas homesite.
